The image was produced using Photoshop 7.0. It consists of 22 layers using EyeCandy plug-in filters on the letters on the upper half of the poster, using a different font for every letter, so they would be different. I used Times New Roman for the bottom statement because I wanted to use the most plain, basic everyday font. I wanted people to look at the bottom first and then have to search for what the top said.

Computers are my life. I want to enter the Visual Effects/ Motion Graphics field because I have a technological and creative mind. When I was five years old, I got my first computer and have been working with and using them ever since. In middle school I was one of only ten students selected to take the first class of Computer Graphic Arts. That started my passion for using the computer to create. Then I spent a year in a high school Computer Graphics class learning Adobe Photoshop. The final project of the class was to make a brochure for the Central Florida Zoo. My brochure was one of three picked and submitted to the Zoo. During the summer I put together a Power Point Presentation of my Venture Troop to be used at the district level to recruit other Venture Scouts. I started building my own systems in tenth grade and have been building them ever since. My favorite classes this year at Landmark are Physics and Advanced Computers. This semester I'm doing an independent study of making and editing a short film, and using the computer to edit is where it is at for me. I believe that the Visual Effects field will allow me to use my visual spatial, creative, techno mind to do what I love for a living. What could be better than that?
