Back

On July 26, 2009, The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham partnered with the Durham Bulls on a unique and creative project to benefit a local organization in Durham, NC. Under the guidance of Fashion Instructor Jessica Palmer and Department Director Aimee Flynn, students were asked to design a jersey that would be worn by the Durham Bulls baseball players during the July 26th game. The selected design was submitted by Art Institute student Joey Warner of Chapel Hill, NC -   The Art Institute will be donating all proceeds from the sale of the jersey’s to the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  Their mission is to create social change through the elimination of the institutional, cultural, and individual oppressions that contribute to domestic violence.
