The Art Institutes 2012 Storytellers Photography Competition offers separate categories for high school seniors graduating in 2012 and high school graduates.  The grand prize winner in the high school senior category earns up to a $40,000 tuition scholarship, and the grand prize winner in the high school graduate category earns a $10,000 tuition scholarship to one of 39 participating Art Institutes across the country.

“The Storytellers Photography Competition is a wonderful opportunity for tomorrow’s photographers to share their vision with the world and showcase their talents on both a local and national stage.   We look forward to assisting these students as they pursue an education in photography,” said Christopher Mesecar, President of The Art Institute of Raleigh–Durham.

Submissions are initially judged at the local level, with one finalist from each participating school advancing to the national level.  The deadline for entries into the competition is March 2, 2012.
