(Durham, NC - November 12 & 13, 2011) – Attention high school seniors with a Passion for Fashion! Learn how you can take your eye for style and turn it into a fashionable future at The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham during a weekend workshop Friday, November 11 to Saturday, November 12.
“From this event we want students to walk away with an understanding of the fashion industry and what it takes to be successful,” said Amy VanAuken, Fashion & Retail Management Director at The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham. “The Art Institutes Passion for Fashion Scholarship Competition is a wonderful opportunity for students to jump-start their fashion education.”
High school seniors are invited to RSVP for the workshop event where they will learn about what it takes to enter and compete in the competition, participate in hands-on sessions on how to stylize, mix and mingle with other fashion-minded high school seniors, and learn what it’s like to be a fashion student at The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham. High school seniors seriously interested in the weekend workshop should contact Ashley Kaplan at Ackaplan@aii.edu.
