Internships
Internships give students an opportunity to apply classroom instruction to real-world experience while earning academic credit. Most Art Institute of Salt Lake City programs require a minimum of 198 hours of internship. Any internship for credit must be approved by the student's academic director in order for class credit to be obtained. The Office of Career Services partners with employers in all degree program related industries for students who need assistance in locating internship opportunities. Students who locate internships on their own must inform Career Services and their academic director to ensure eligibility.
