Parking & Safety
art and design school students

Ample on-site parking is available to students, faculty, and staff at The Art Institute of California—San Diego. Parking decals must be displayed in vehicles and may be obtained at the Student Accounting window inside the school. Students should be aware that they park at their own risk and liability.

The school is also accessible via public bus and trolley routes.

Safety
The Art Institute of California—San Diego is committed to maintaining the health and welfare of its students, faculty, staff, and guests. Likewise, a safe environment is everyone’s responsibility. Criminal acts of any kind and, in turn, violation of state and/or federal laws on campus may result in prompt disciplinary action, including expulsion from the school.

Access to all campus facilities is limited to authorized personnel, students and invited visitors. Visitors must sign in and out at the front reception desk and are subject to school policies and conduct codes. In the event of a fire or other incident that poses a threat to safety, students, faculty and staff are expected to follow established procedures.

Pursuant to the Federal Crime Awareness and Campus Act of 1990, The Art Institute of California—San Diego provides information annually to current and prospective employees and students that addresses crime reporting, campus security, advisement for crime victims, and statistics on selected crimes.

Additional information about campus safety policies, procedures, and crime statistics can be found in The Art Institute of California—San Diego Student Handbook.
