Ai Genshiken

Ai Genshiken is a club that focuses on Japanese anime and culture. Our main goal is to create an environment for people to comfortably express their interest among peers.

AIGA-AICA

AIGA is the oldest and largest professional membership organization for graphic design. This student group is part of the San Francisco chapter. Club activities include visits to design studios, lectures and portfolio reviews. Students can also work on design projects for local non-profits.
Alpha Beta Kappa

The Delta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Beta Kappa aims to promote educational excellence outside of academic achievement through community efforts and awareness, and strives to construct leadership skills through team building workshops and quarterly events.

(GSA) Gay - Straight Alliance

GSA is a club for students that focuses on leadership development and building alliances not only across sexual orientation, but also race, ethnicity, and our sources. GSA will draw on the courage of LGBTQ and the commitment of straight allies working in partnership to build bridges.

Meditation Club

The Meditation Club is a student-run organization that provides instructional meditation sessions held at The Art Institute of California in San Francisco. The club provides the environment for open discussion and practice on multi-cultural meditation methods. Guest masters of meditation and Field trips to meditation centers around the Bay Area will help students to further increase their understanding of their practice.
Modern Gastronomy Club

The purpose of our club is to provide information on and stimulate interest in the science of Modern Gastronomy. We encourage the practical application of cooking techniques and recipe development. We also promote the culinary creativity of its members through free exchange of ideas.

SWAP aims to bring AiCASF students and alumni of diverse disciplines together to facilitate learning and growth in the area of design and delivery of internet-based projects. We do this through shared learning and experience, critique of each other’s work, and the development of web workshops for the greater Ai community.
Visualization and Concept Art Club (“VizLub”)

The purpose of the Visualization and Concept Art Club is to provide AiCA-SF students with more knowledge and practice in creating artwork. Through a variety of mediums and techniques students will receive more in depth investigation and feedback into painting and other techniques.
