Graduate Employment Services
art and design school students

The Art Institute of California — San Diego prepares graduates for the demands of the workplace. Career Services is here to help match students with prospective employers and get them on a path to future success.

If you have taken advantage of industry speakers and events sponsored by Career Services, joined your trade industry student groups, completed an internship and/or attended professional/student organizations, you have already started the networking process. Armed with a body of work required by your major in a portfolio format (Color Boards, CD ROM, demo reel, or Web site URL), you will be working closely with Career Services to match your skills to hundreds of prospective employers.

Portfolio Review
Graduating students participate in a portfolio course in their final quarter at The Art Institute of California — San Diego. The course helps you prepare a professional portfolio which showcases your work, accomplishments and talents. You then have the opportunity to showcase that work in a portfolio review held for your family, friends, staff faculty, employers and continuing students.
