Art Institute Students Present: Spring 2009 Portfolio Show

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to meet the next generation of up-and-coming creative professionals in design, media arts, and fashion.

[SAN FRANCISCO, CA, MAY 2009] - Graduates from The Art Institute of California - San Francisco will showcase their hard work, talent, and creativity at the Spring Portfolio Show, being held on Thursday, June 18^th at the Hotel Whitcomb from 4pm - 8pm.

Industry professionals and employers will have the unique opportunity to view artwork, design portfolios, and demo reels from students graduating in the fields of Advertising, Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing & Management, Game Art & Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Media Arts & Animation, Visual & Game Programming and Web Design & Interactive Media.

This year's show will feature portfolios from students who have already begun to achieve success outside of the classroom. These students will showcase work from recent internships in a variety of different formats, including demo reels, photos, clippings, and design illustrations. Some of the students whose portfolios will be available for viewing include:

A Media Arts & Animation student interning at Moderati.
A Graphic Design student who has helped design and launch the website and blog for SmartZip, a real estate intelligence website.
A Game Art & Design student interning at Palma VFX as a 3D Modeler/Texture Artist.
A Fashion Marketing & Management student who recently completed an internship at Glamour Magazine in New York and is the recipient of the annual scholarship from the Fashion Group International.

The Spring Portfolio show is open to the public, so don't miss this incredible opportunity to meet the next generation of creative design professionals. Bay Area companies looking to hire are especially encouraged to attend this event.
