Counseling Services
The mission of the Counseling Center at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco is to enhance the psychological well-being of students who seek our services, and to contribute to an educational environment that aids students in achieving their personal, academic and career goals. Our center is staffed by two licensed clinical psychologists and is complimentary to Art Institute students. These services include:
- short-term individual and couples counseling
- consultation regarding personal, academic and/or career concerns
- groups and workshops on a variety of topics, including stress-management and relationships
- referrals to community resources (many that are free or low-cost) for long-term therapy, medication evaluation, general health care, and many other services
