Programs

Caren Meghreblian, Ph.D., Dean of Academic Affairs What will it take to be successful?

Our goal is to prepare the current and future design-related professional using quality educational programs focused on skills used in today's workplace.

Many of our instructors are experienced professionals in their fields. They help guide students' sense of design and help students understand a body of theoretical and practical knowledge appropriate to his or her degree objective. Our programs are carefully defined with the support and contributions of leading members of the professional community. Prior to graduating, each student will produce a professional portfolio and will have matured as a thinker, artist, and designer. As a result, a student graduating from The Art Institute of California — San Francisco can expect to be prepared for an entry-level position in his or her chosen field.

In order to provide greater flexibility for personal schedules, students may now take several of our courses online. If you are interested in finding out about these online classes, please speak with our Admissions department or contact our Online Advocate by calling 888-493-3261.

We wish you the best as you explore education for the design field and learn about our programs. Please know that our faculty and staff members are committed to your success as a student.
