Building a Portfolio: An artist’s portfolio is their culmination of creativity in one location. It is a first impression, one which explains their creative approach to the viewer. Digital and video portfolios are no exception. Learn about guidelines for thinking about portfolio-quality work at any stage of an artist’s career, including high school. Electronic portfolios will be presented and discussed.
The Teachers’ Series is presented by The Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg for high school faculty and counselors and offers an excellent opportunity for education and networking with colleagues. Faculty and counselors interested in the tropics are welcome to attend as many of the complimentary workshops as they would like. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Each presentation will have a hands-on component, and a takeaway for classroom use. Based on the amount of time spent in the workshop, CEU and CPDU credits can be awarded.
