Artimation Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Showcasing Student Talent on the Big Screen

[Schaumburg, IL - October 23, 2009] - Those who know what's hot in animation, digital film, gaming, and interactive media and know that ARTimation 10 is the place to find rising talent in the Chicago area. Students and recent graduates of The Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg are once again showcasing their best work on the big screen at the AMC South Barrington 30 Theatres during this highly anticipated event.
The 10th annual digital arts festival will welcome more than 3,000 moviegoers and receives support from industry insiders to judge who comes out on top. This year's panel includes representatives from Walt Disney Television Animation, Rockstar Games, Digital Domain, Digital Kitchen, ARC Worldwide/Leo Burnett USA, Technicolor Interactive & Animation Services, Area 51, Buddha Jones Trailers, culture22 and MK2 Development.
ARTimation 10 is on Wednesday, October 28. The excitement isn't just limited to the movie theatre; multimedia, web design and original electronic games are available in the lobby throughout the evening.
Admission is at no charge and the box office opens at 4 p.m. The location and show times are as follows:
