On October 28, 2009, students and recent graduates of The Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg showcased their best work on the big screen and in the atrium of the AMC South Barrington 30 Theatres during the 10th anniversary of ARTimation, the college’s annual juried digital arts festival.

ARTimation 2009 welcomed more than 3,000 moviegoers and received support from industry insiders. This year’s panel of judges included representatives from Walt Disney Television Animation, Rockstar Games, Digital Domain, Digital Kitchen, ARC Worldwide/Leo Burnett USA, Technicolor Interactive & Animation Services, Area 51, Buddha Jones Trailers, culture22, and MK2 Development.
Students who exhibited in ARTimation 10 are working on or recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts & Animation, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Web Design & Interactive Media, or Game Art & Design from The Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg.
