The Dean, Assistant Deans, Academic Directors, Academic Advisors, and faculty are committed to providing students with a vibrant and relevant educational experience. Faculty, most of whom are professionals in the field, bring their knowledge into the classroom.

The educational process is designed to develop employable skills and professional attitudes so that graduates are prepared for a career in their chosen field.

Academic Affairs assumes that students at The Art Institute of Seattle are serious about their education. They are expected to commit the time and energy necessary to get the maximum benefit from each course they take.

Students are encouraged to consult with instructors, Academic Advisors or their Academic Director when they need additional support services.

The Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs and the Education Department administrative assistants are located on the 7th floor of the South Campus at 2323 Elliott Avenue.
