Portfolio Restaurant serves as an educational dining lab for culinary arts students at The Art Institute of Seattle. Open to the public, the restaurant presents a tempting menu of fine-dining courses emphasizing fresh seasonal favorites. Portfolio Restaurant, with a stunning view of Elliott Bay, offers elegance at an affordable price.


The Portfolio Restaurant is open to the public.

April 11 - June 8
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
5:30-7:00 pm for Dinner

Wine Educator Dieter Schafer invites you to
Taste a Little, Learn a Lot.
Taste Five to Six wines from Washington and France while you enjoy hors d’oeuvres... and perhaps stay for dinner.

Each session, Dieter not only guides you through the tasting, he will speak about the wines’ grape varieties, the local viticultural areas and French appellations where the wines come from, offer food & wine matches, and more.

April 27: Champagne and Sparkling
May 4: Cabernet and Merlot
May 11: Syrah and Grenache
May 18: Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon
May 25: Rosés

Fridays, Five to Six pm, $15 per person, per session
