The following directions have proven to be the most direct and easiest routes to The Art Institute of Seattle. While there may be additional ways of reaching the school, these are the routes we suggest, especially for new visitors to the Seattle area.

From Interstate 5 (North or Southbound)

• Take the Mercer Street exit and follow the signs to the Seattle Center and Space Needle.
• At the bottom of the Mercer Exit off ramp, turn right onto Fairview.
• One block later, turn left onto Valley.
• Valley will become Broad.
• Go past the Space Needle.
• Turn left onto Elliott Avenue, one block before you reach the waterfront.
• The Art Institute is five blocks ahead on the right.

• Connect to Interstate 5 North.
• Refer to the I-5 directions.

• Connect to Interstate 5 South.
• Refer to the I-5 directions.

• Take the Western Avenue exit.
• Turn left onto Wall, two blocks after the end of the off ramp.
• Turn left onto Elliott.
• The Art Institute is two blocks ahead on the right.

• Take the Broad Street exit.
• Go past the Space Needle.
• Turn left onto Elliott Avenue, one block before you reach the waterfront.
• The Art Institute is five blocks ahead on the right.
