Campus Safety

The Art Institute of Seattle is committed to maintaining the health and welfare of its students, faculty, staff and guests. Likewise, a safe environment is everyone's responsibility. Criminal acts of any kind and, in turn, violation of state and/or federal laws on campus may result in prompt disciplinary action, including expulsion from the school.

Access to all campus facilities is limited to authorized personnel, students and invited visitors. Visitors must sign in and out at the front reception desk and are subject to school policies and conduct codes. In the event of a fire or other incident that poses a threat to safety, students, faculty and staff are expected to follow established procedures.

Pursuant to the Federal Crime Awareness and Campus Act of 1990, The Art Institute of Seattle provides information annually to current and prospective employees and students that addresses crime reporting, campus security, advisement for crime victims, and statistics on selected crimes.

Additional information about campus safety policies, procedures, and crime statistics can be found in The Art Institute of Seattle academic catalog.
