International Student Affairs

Students come from countries all over the world to attend The Art Institute of Seattle. Seattle is a great city in which to live and study. It is large enough to offer outstanding cultural opportunities and an innovative business environment. At the same time, Seattle is small enough to make strangers quickly feel at home.

Interested in attending The Art Institute of Seattle? Please contact the Admissions department for more information.

The International Student Advisors:

  • provide assistance and guidance regarding immigration procedures and policies;

Housing
Three housing options, including school-sponsored apartments, independent housing and the Home Stay program, please refer to "Housing" in The Art Institute of Seattle academic catalog.

  • Home Stay Program - International students interested in living with an American family may choose to participate in the Home Stay Program. Living with an American family provides a great opportunity to further experience the American culture. The Art Institute works with Home Stay providers in the Seattle area for placement. Students complete an application and pay a fee to be matched with a family that has been carefully interviewed by the Home Stay Provider. Monthly costs vary dependent on the type of Home Stay.
