The Art Institute of Tampa hosts TBAF EXPO 2006 "Working it Out"

TAMPA, FL (November 3, 2006) – This year’s TBAF EXPO was held at The Art Institute of Tampa and had an active participation from advertising professionals, business owners and students via seminars and exhibitors aimed at helping businesses grow and become more profitable. Governor James Bozeman of the 4th District American Advertising Federation talked about the state of the advertising business in Florida.

Another notable speaker included James M Alexander, Director of Adobe Stock Photo who shared information on how to use the powerful features of Adobe Creative Suite 2 – Bridge and Adobe Stock Photos, designed to simplify one’s workflow. Giveaways included an offer to earn a pair of Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones. Dick Olmstead of Bright House Networks offered a seminar on cable advertising.

Also present were industry professionals and hiring managers that reviewed student portfolios and help improve their presentation. This year’s advertising EXPO attracted a significant list of sponsors, including Adobe Stock Photos seminar-in-a-box, The Art Institute of Tampa, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Randstad Work Solutions, Media Talk, Centro Mi Diario, Graphic Odds and Ends and Rinaldi Printing.
Proceeds from the EXPO will benefit TBAF’s public service campaign for 2006-07, Habitat for Humanity.
