For many students, attending The Art Institute of Tampa marks their first time away from their families and friends. Many are unfamiliar with their surroundings: a new town, perhaps, a new state or, for some, a whole new country. Our Counseling Services staff are here to help students make a smooth transition. Our counselors help students sort through the various emotions and issues that may arise. Other students may have no problem with their transition but, may encounter personal problems. All counseling is always confidential in accordance with Florida Statute 491.0147 of the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family, Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.

The Art Institute of Tampa encourages students seeking any additional assistance or support to call upon our counseling services. There is no charge for these services, and both appointments and walk-ins are welcome.
