The tools to succeed now - and in the future

The Art Institute of Tampa maintains a comprehensive Career Services Department dedicated to helping students find work while in school and after graduation. Although the school does not guarantee employment, we strive to cultivate employment opportunities and to match job leads and internship opportunities with qualified students. Students are encouraged to obtain advice and assistance with their resume, job search, portfolio presentation and interview techniques.

Students seeking employment while in school should visit the school's Job Boards regularly, and make their needs known to the Career Services Department. General and in-field employment opportunities are also presented to students during quarterly on-site Job Fairs. Quarterly workshops, open to students of all levels, are available throughout the quarter and focus on various career development topics such as resume writing, interview techniques and job search etiquette.

Prior to graduation, students are encouraged to work with a Career Advisor specific to their field of study. Career Advisors not only provide job leads compatible with their skills and experience, they can offer an overview of the employment market—along with individualized help in resume enhancement, job-search techniques, interviewing skills and portfolio presentation. Advisors also work to increase industry awareness of The Art Institute of Tampa and its students.
