Most students receive some form of financial aid to assist them in paying for their
college education. Unlike most public colleges, The Art Institute of Tampa will provide
you with one-on-one assistance with all financial aid forms required to start your journey.
Our Approach to Financial Aid
If you are interested in applying for financial aid the first step would be to let your
ADA (Assistant Director or Admissions) know so they can set you up with an appointment to
meet with one of our Admissions Coordinators, who will help you with the entire process.
You can also print out all of the forms needed to complete the financial aid process and
complete them at home, print them out and bring them in and discuss them with an Admissions
Coordinator.
The Art Institute of Tampa provides "financial planning" for its students. This means that
we can provide a payment plan that will allow you to budget for your entire program. Our goal
in Student Financial Services is to make your monthly payments as affordable to you as possible.
After you complete the application forms, your Student Financial Planner will review them using
a federally required calculation to determine your eligibility for financial aid. The Planner
will then work with you and your family to devise a Student Financial Plan to help you cover
your educational expenses, based on your financial aid eligibility and your family circumstances.
When to apply for financial aid
As soon as you enroll at The Art Institute of Tampa, you should apply for financial aid. All
financial aid is first come, first serve. Continuing students should apply as soon as possible
after the new year's FAFSA is distributed. Deadline dates will be provided each year.
