Organizations & Activities

Developing leadership opportunities for students at The Art Institute of Tampa, a branch of Miami International University of Art & Design, is both an important component of the Office of Student Affairs and an integral part of the learning experience. Student leadership is fundamental to academic success, and a great way to network and meet other students. And it also looks good on your résumé.

As a student leader, you will serve as a positive role model for your peers and as a student advocate for the school. The Art Institute of Tampa student leadership programs support the mission of the school, help students refine interpersonal skills, implement positive change for the student body, and promote school and community spirit.

The Art Institute of Tampa presents many opportunities for you to become a student leader. You can become an active member of The Art Institute of Tampa Student Government, start or join a university club, or attend school-sponsored seminars designed to improve your leadership skills.
