Art Institute of Tucson Faculty Members to Premiere Latest Film at 2009 Arizona International Film Festival

(Tucson, AZ) April 18, 2009 — Two Art Institute of Tucson faculty members will premiere their latest film at this year’s 2009 Arizona International Film Festival Saturday, April 18, 8:30pm, at Grand Cinemas Crossroads, 4811 East Grant Road in Tucson.

The film titled “Good Boy”, was directed/produced by instructor, Patrick Roddy and produced by instructor, Brian McLaughlin. The 80-minute long film follows a young man who attempts to escape his trapped existence by stealing money form his work and heading to California, hopefully to find a better life. But, he stumbles into an unimaginable world along the way, ruled by a depraved man who controls everything and everyone around him.

The film was shot in Louisiana but used Tucson talent including actress Tiffany Shepis Craig Huston (production advisor), Jorge Urbina (director of photography), Sara Sher (editor) and Jason Canfield (sound design). The original score is by local musician Tom Walbank and songs contributed by Amy Rude.
