Student Housing Conduct

In order to provide an environment that is professional and respectful for all residents, it is expected that students will conduct themselves during their tenure in School-Sponsored Housing and at The Art Institute of Vancouver in the same manner that would be expected of them in a future employment situation.

All students are encouraged to read and become familiar with the Rules and Regulations included in the Housing License Agreement. To view the Rules and Regulations, please click here.

Highlights of the Rules and Regulations include, but are not limited to:

No alcohol or alcohol containers – even if you are over 19

No illegal drugs or paraphernalia

No pets – except for approved service animals (contact the Housing office for additional information).

No smoking inside the apartments

No overnight guests are permitted and guest must leave the complex by 10.00pm Sunday through Thursday and 11.00pm Friday and Saturday.

No weapons of any kind

No open flame devices – candles, incense, BBQs, charcoal…

Common courtesies – no loud parties, excessively loud music, abusive language or gestures to other students or staff…
