Program Overview

Students can get a graphic design education through the Graphic Design & Foundation for Design program at The Art Institute of Vancouver. This graphic design education teaches students the basics of design, typography, and color theory. Students who receive a graphic design education through The Art Institute of Vancouver are taught with industry-related technology and software. Classes in this program that are part of the graphic design education cover topics such as digital illustration, art direction, and advertising design. Students who successfully complete this program and its graphic design education are prepared to pursue entry-level jobs such as computer artist, advertising designer, and graphic designer. We also offer a Graphic Design diploma program.

Program Description
The Graphic Design & Foundation for Design diploma program teaches you the basics of design, typography, and color theory. Additional study and class projects in graphics, traditional design, and production tools, such as the drawing board and drawing instruments leads to a well-rounded educational experience. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as advertising designer, computer artist, freelance artist, graphic designer, or layout artist.
