Bringing Global Knowledge to the Local Community
Meeting Professional International’s World Education Conference began a day early for four speakers who gave voluntary presentations to the British Columbia Institute of Technology and The Art Institute of Vancouver on Friday 24th July.
The idea for the community engagement event came from the UK & Ireland chapter’s Marketing Chair Miguel Neves who, motivated by the idea that CSR initiatives should be about more than the environment, reached out to two Vancouver based universities. [read more...]

Mark Shipway, Head of Wine at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Vancouver, was recently published in the Spring 2010 issue of Chef's Quarterly, the official publication of the British Columbia Chef's Association.

Recent Fashion Design grad of The Art Institute of Vancouver, Ingrid Bergstrom-Kendrick is knocking 'em dead internationally. Out of almost fifty Art Institutes in North America, Vancouver is the only Canadian one. So when this Swedish transplant beat out all of the Art Institute fashion designers in the "Cool vs. Cruel" contest, we were proud to have her represent us.
