Return to Our Main News Page

(Dulles, VA- February 2012)  In an age where high school students spend more hours texting and on Facebook, high school seniors in Loudon County are busy using the left sides of their brains to submit artwork into the Third Annual Loudoun County Public Schools & The Art Institute of Washington — Northern Virginia, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, Student Senior Art Show.

"All of the participants in this show are creative thinkers and problem solvers who have contributed to our community by sharing their art," said Melissa Pagano, Art Supervisor for Loudoun County Public Schools. "I hope that our student artists continue their journey in art, and allow themselves the opportunity to see things creatively from different perspectives everyday."

There will be a gallery reception for the High School Senior Art Show at The Art Institute of Washington — Northern Virginia, on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 6pm. All are welcome to the reception at no charge. The Art Institute of Washington — Northern Virginia is located at The Corporate Office Park at Dulles Town Center, 21000 Atlantic Blvd., Suite 100, Dulles, VA 20166 (Tel: 1.571.449.4400).
