Mission

The Art Institute Of York–Pennsylvania is committed to meeting the needs of our students, the employers of our graduates, and our staff members. It is our mission to provide the educational environment, faculty, tools, and support–that assist students to prepare them for entry-level positions in fields related to the visual arts. It is our intent to recruit students with natural abilities to communicate visually and enhance these skills with grounding in general academic studies and relevant technical skills.

Our success is measured by the number of students who complete their programs and obtain jobs in their fields. Students take studio courses to develop the necessary technical skills and professional academic courses that encourage the achievement of self-knowledge and development of critical thinking.
