The Art Institute of York – Pennsylvania Fashion Students Donate Show Proceeds to Local Groups
The graduating class of Fashion Marketing students at The Art Institute of York – Pennsylvania has recently donated the proceeds of its Quarterly Fashion Show to two local groups. The fashion show, entitled: “Alice Unraveled,” was held on March 10, at Willow Valley Resort. The recipients of the evening’s proceeds included Olivia’s House and the Mercy and Sharing Program. Each non-profit group received a check for $2,350.
The Art Institute of York – Pennsylvania is a degree granting college offering Bachelor’s of Science Degrees in Fashion & Retail Management, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Media Arts & Animation, and Web Design & Interactive Media, as well as Associate’s of Science Degrees in Graphic Design and Kitchen & Bath Design. It is located in east York and currently has more than 550 students.
Olivia’s House is an organization of care giving professionals and volunteers committed to supporting grieving children. Its purpose is to facilitate healing through grief and loss education.
The Mercy and Sharing Foundation aims to help children in Haiti, to save them from death and to give them hope for the future.
