Organizations & Activities

Students may get involved with professional organizations such as:

ASID (American Society of Interior Designers)
NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association)
Baltimore chapter of the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts)
DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi.

The school also has a chapter of Alpha Beta Kappa (ABK), a national honor society that promotes and rewards personal integrity and academic excellence. Students maintaining a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher at the end of the fifth term will be considered for induction into ABK during the graduation ceremony. The Art Institute of York — Pennsylvania offers leadership opportunities for students through participation in the student government.
