The Art Institute of York — Pennsylvania maintains two computer labs containing over 40 Macintosh G5 & G4 computers and two PC labs running Windows 2000 and Windows XP. All labs are equipped with large (11x17) or small format color scanners and access to over 200 gigabytes of network storage. The computer labs are supported by two Epson Stylus 7600 color printers, four HP LaserJet 5000 printers, and an HP Design Jet color plotter.
The Art Institute of York — Pennsylvania maintains a building-wide local area network and a high-speed (T1) Internet connection. All lab computers have a direct connection to the Internet. In support of our laptop initiative, all network resources are available using wireless technology throughout the school premises.
Students work on the industry standard software, which is regularly upgraded to reflect current industry practice.
