The Admissions Committee evaluates all applicants on the basis of their previous education, background, stated interests, SAT/ACT scores (not required) or skills assessment results. Criteria can vary by program. Based on the Committee’s assessment of the applicant’s preparedness to undertake The Art Institute of York–Pennsylvania course work, applicants might be required to complete a student Success course. The student Success course is a non-credit, pass/fail course designed to prepare students for long-term academic success. The successful completion of this course is a requirement to continue in the program. Detailed information about the student Success course can be obtained from the Admissions office.
