What’s Jonathan doing today?

Jonathan is the Senior Design Manager for Onfield, a division of the ADIDAS group (formerly Reebok) located in Canton, MA.  He is responsible for Apparel Design and Graphic Design for the company's Lifestyle and Performance lines.  His job has taken him to places for inspiration such as Korea and Taiwan, to Germany for trade shows and from shore to shore in the U.S. Jonathan's list of notable design subjects includes top-ranked pro tennis player Andy Roddick, and NBA All-Star Allen Iverson, with whom he collaborated on his "AI" apparel line. Today, he works directly with the NBA and its teams.

Creative Inspiration

At first Jonathan wasn’t sure exactly what he wanted to do and if graphic design would even play any role for him.  He knew that he wanted to use his creative side and see his concepts, ideas, and designs in the marketplace.  Graphic Design allowed him to do this as well as transition into new areas of creativity.  

Getting out there

Jonathan decided to go to Bradley Academy because of its strong reputation as a source of graphic design talent. Bradley's small classes and its specialized curriculum were appealing as well.  He enjoyed classes such as Illustration and Advertising, which he applies to his job today.  Jonathan is also a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa national honor society. He's returned to Bradley's classrooms and to Alumni and Senior Portfolio events to relate his professional journey to current students.
