What's Lucas doing today?

Lucas is Broadcast Designer for Baltimore, Maryland's ABC affiliate, WMAR-TV, Channel 2. He produces animation and news graphics for all newscasts, and works with videographers and producers to create animations to be used in station promos and commercials.

Creative inspiration

With an eye on the film industry, Lucas considers his success in the television industry as a precursor. He chose Bradley Academy for his education because the streamlined nature of the courses appealed to him. Once there, he took a liking to working with typography and, of course, was bitten by the Animation bug on the first day of his Intro course. Prior to Bradley, Lucas spent the first 18 years of his life on a dairy farm in rural Maryland.

Getting out there

Lucas has come into contact with many famous individuals during his relatively short stint in the industry and he has earned mention on imdb.com (the Internet Movie Database) for being in "The Simple Life." Other than that brush with greatness, Lucas says he's "holding out for a Telly or Emmy Award."

Lucas graduated from Bradley Academy's Digital Arts program in 2004.
