What is Stefan doing today?Stefan is the Art Director for a fullservice ad agency with international clients called Baschnegger Ammann Partner located in Dornbirn, Austria. He is responsible for a variety of things including advertisements, billboards, magazines, brochures, homepages, packages, and POS materials. Stefan received an AdWin award for the best campaign and billboard in 2005 as Art Director and Graphic Designer.
Stefan has done work for companies like the German division of Dentsply for fullsize ads, custom furniture for a company called D-Tank located in Los Angeles, an image folder for a Swiss company called SITAG AG, a sales folder, direct mailings, and full size and dealer ads for the Austrian Division of SUBARU, and package design material, sales folder, and full sizeads for Kaiser cough candies in Germany and Austria.
Creative inspirationStefan only wanted to become a graphic designer, period. No other career choice was even a thought in his mind. Stefan is in this industry because he loves to design not because he wants to be a professional designer. This industry grew on him even more and still is growing on him each and every day.
Getting out thereStefan is from Hohenems, Austria and he says that he loved his experience at Bradley Academy because it was far from home. Stefan decided to go to Bradley Academy for many reasons including the intimacy he felt in a small school setting. He also liked the good mix of design, art and craftsmanship that students are taught at Bradley. His Bohemian lifestyle and dynamic artistic approach immediately grabbed the attention of Stefan's classmates and instructors alike while he was at Bradley. He still keeps in touch, although the longer he remains abroad, the more challenging it becomes to decipher his dissipating command of the English language!
“Don’t waste your time while you are in school, because it’s the best place and time for experimentation and exploration of your abilities, especially in the creative process.” -Stefan Zvokelj
