The Digital Arts Program prepares the student for entry-level positions in the interactive multimedia design and production. The curriculum stresses the development of digital design skills for CD-ROM, DVD, digital video editing, Web production, imaging, and print.
Students develop their skills using relevant technology including applications from Adobe, and Avid. Students learn to use creativity, conceptual thinking, and technical expertise to develop marketable design solutions.
Graduates have secured entry-level employment with television stations, design studios, Web site development companies, and interactive multimedia operations.
Since employers today put great emphasis on communication literacy, students take courses to develop skills in writing and public speaking. These skills are then used in all other courses. Students are introduced to psychology, professional development, history, and marketing to round out their education.
