AiW's College Bound Students’ Artwork on Display at the Global Issues Conference in DC
On March 13, The Art Institute of Washington’s college bound students participated in the Global Issues Conference’s (GIN) Art Competition by submitting original artwork that demonstrated their perspective on global issues that they cared about. This competition was held during the GIN conference, which was organized by Washington, DC students from Washington International School and School Without Walls. The student’s artwork was exhibited during the GIN conference.
The purpose of the conference was to empower younger generations to “collaborate locally, regionally, and globally in order to create sustainable solutions for global issues. Over 300 students attend this conference every year.
Art Foundations Instructor Vasia Deliyianni served as a judge at this year’s conference.
