Formerly known as Literati by Credo, this online reference library is a great place for starting your research with its collection of over 800 reference books (dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.), image collections, and video sets. Added features include one-stop-shopping topic pages and topical mind maps. Find out how to put these to work for your next project!

Analyzing Information for Academic Credibility

About: Great event for new students! One important aspect of using information in classwork is to be sure that the resource is academically credible and useful for an assignment. This webinar will give you pointers on how to verify the information you use.

Audio Resources in the Online Library

About: The online library has a great collection of audio resources that are available for a variety of educational projects. This webinar will discuss these databases, as well as discuss how to search the public Internet to find audio material that can be used legally without additional permission.

Insight from WGSN

During this time, learn the features and functionality of the online classroom, where to go for help, what to do when you have a question, where to find available resources, and much more. IGDA Weekly Meetings

About: IGDA’s national goal is to provide and promote a better understanding of the functions of game developing, game play and game distribution. In addition, IGDA offers members the opportunity to network and build contacts with each other and professionals in the industry and give hands-on experience. IGDA enhances its members' abilities and promotes fellowship and the free exchange of ideas.

AIGA Student Organization Meeting

AutoCAD Workshop: Multi-Leader Styles

About: This mini-session will go through how to set up multi-leader styles for different tasks in AutoCAD, such as notes, keynotes, furniture tags, and door tags.

Photo Live: Got Questions?

About: Join full-time faculty members, Jill Mott and Brianna Burnett, as they discuss topics relevant to photography.  This is a casual presentation that will focus on answering any and all questions you might have about photography and our online program.  The presentation will start with stock questions - we get lots!  Come, join and bring your questions! 

Mad Professor’s Drawing Club

When: Several sessions this month!

About: Hosted by Professor Nina Stanley, these interactive drawing sessions will focus on techniques used in gesture drawing of humans and animals in various media formats. The sessions will feature live gesture drawing of figures and animals, anatomical study, media demonstrations, and will offer general artistic fun and comradery. These sessions are open to everyone!

ART1000 Live!

When: Every Wednesday night! 7:00pm-8:00pm EDT

About: The full-time faculty staff of the General Education Art Department will be hosting these one hour, weekly sessions to help you enrich your grasp of the material and gain useful assignment guidance. Individual questions will be answered so come ready to talk or just sit back and listen in. Extra credit will be offered! Students may earn 10 points per week for a total of 30 extra credit points in ART1000 for attending.

English Live!

When: Every Friday! 2:00pm-3:00pm EDT

About: Are you in an English course and not sure how to compose your thoughts into a paper? Are you struggling with transitioning from paragraph to paragraph? Could you use some help with grammar and sentence structure? Need to research a topic but are not sure where to start?If you answered yes to any of these questions, our virtual event English Live may be able to provide the help you need! This 60 minute, weekly study session is designed to address any questions you have regarding English, such as: Composition, Mechanics, Formatting, Research Techniques, and more! These virtual sessions are open to all students but we strongly encourage any student taking an English course to attend! Please come prepared with questions that we can address.

MTH1010 Live!

When: Sessions every Monday night! 7:30pm-8:30pm EDT

About: You are invited to a 60-minute weekly informal study session with a full-time math faculty member every Monday evening. These weekly sessions are designed to answer any questions you may have, help you enrich your grasp of the material and gain useful assignment guidance. Attending each session is worth 10 bonus points for a maximum of 30 points toward the total points earned for the MTH1010 course. Please come prepared with specific questions to help you best. Certainly all questions are welcome but general questions are difficult to answer in a short period of time.

Art History Live!

When: Sessions every Monday night! 8:00pm-9:00pm EDT

About: What can art reveal to us about the world? About ourselves? Each week join art history faculty and students for an in-depth exploration and discussion of art work. Feel free to engage in the conversation or sit back and listen. Extra credit offered to those taking art history classes.
