Creating a page will allow you to create a presence on Facebook, and keep it separated from your individual profile. We will also be discussing Facebook privacy settings. When you are in the virtual world, be it an online class discussion, Facebook page, or an email, you may be exposed to some private or personal information that needs to be handled with great care. What do you think would happen if private information "got into the wrong hands?" Embarrassment? Hurt feelings? Loss of an employment opportunity? We will go over a variety of settings that you can change within Facebook that will help prevent these type of issues. See you there!
