Artisan Restaurant is Now Open for Lunch!

Why settle for lukewarm mystery meat, last night’s leftovers, or a microwave dinner, when you can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared bistro-style lunch?
Artisan Restaurant, the student-run dining lab at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Charlotte, a campus of South University, is now open for lunch. This quarter, students are cooking up three course lunches featuring Caravelle Pasta, Pan Roasted Baucom’s Best Chicken Breast, Popcorn Crusted Scallops, and Braised Hickory Nut Gap Beef Short Ribs.
The restaurant is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 11:30am – 1pm. Although reservations aren’t required, you can reserve your spot or obtain additional information by calling 704.357.5900.
Artisan Restaurant is located at 2110 Water Ridge Parkway, Charlotte, NC, 28217.

This one-of-a-kind eatery offers students a unique combination of real-world experience and instructional content. Under the supervision of Chef Mark Martin and an experienced and credentialed faculty of chef instructors, students create mouth-watering dishes in the kitchen and run all aspects of the dining room. From food ordering and preparation to guest seating and serving, Artisan is a complete instructional environment for students that offers a quality dining experience to its patrons.
