The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University, welcomed self-described edutainer Anthony Sharp to speak to our students about personal and professional development on January 25, 2018.

During this Career Week event, students from across our creative arts programs learned about the ups and downs that come from looking for employment and what one should expect when getting interviewed. He encouraged our students to pursue their career goals with determination and to persevere when faced with rejection.

His talk covered subjects such as networking and job hunts and helped our students to learn how to effectively utilize their internal network of people from across their lives to uncover and access hidden job opportunities in the creative arts.

He ended his speech by showing an image filled with everyday U.S brands and asked the students to believe in and stand by their aspirations for their creative arts careers, informing students that those brands were up on that board because they understood how to Be Relevant, Attractive, Needed and in Demand, the effective method for creating and maintaining a B.R.A.N.D.

Other Career Week events included sessions on LinkedIn, professional introductions, and interviewing. See how our Career Services team can help you prepare for fulfilling creative arts careers today.
