Culinary Instructor Helps Cook Up a Feast at the James Beard House
April 23, 2015
(LAS VEGAS, LV March 2015) – Chef Justin Hall, culinary instructor at The Art Institute of Las Vegas, recently had the opportunity to help prepare a dinner at the famed James Beard House in New York City. The dinner was hosted in part by Skuna Bay Salmon, a craft farm raised salmon company based in Skuna Bay near Vancouver, Canada. The company asked five chefs from different parts of the country, who had been using the salmon in their restaurants, to prepare a dinner highlighting Skuna Bay, at the Beard House. One of the selected chefs, Chef Brian Howard, who Chef Hall formerly worked for at Comme Ca in Las Vegas and West Hollywood, asked him to help prepare the food and travel to New York to execute the dishes. The dinner took place on February 25, 2015.
