Ensures that Saks 5th Avenue Photo Shoots Go Off Without A Hitch

For almost 120 years, Saks 5th Avenue has helped to define luxury fashion. The brand’s catalogs, magazine ads, and newspaper ads continue the tradition of bringing high-end fashion to the masses—and Gwynne Bevan Tuttle is responsible for ensuring that the images in these pieces speak to audiences. Gwynne is the merchandise coordinator for Saks 5th Avenue and is responsible for all products that are on set at the company’s photo shoots. “I work directly with art and creative directors at Saks Fifth Avenue and assist producers, on and off set, to ensure a photo shoot happens without a glitch,” she says.
Gwynne enjoys the fast-paced and exciting fashion industry and she’s excited by the perks of being on the forefront of emerging fashion. Her office is a glorified sample closet, full of merchandise. And she has the opportunity to work with professional photographers and models while admiring Saks 5th Avenue’s one-of-a-kind jewelry and fashions.
Gwynne says her education fine-tuned her eye for creativity and fed her passion for the competitive fashion industry. “My training in trend forecasting as well as fashion illustration has made it possible for me to be an active member on the marketing team, rather than just the young woman who has all the shoes in her office.”
