Houston Fashion Students Create Garments from African-style Printed Materials

Recently, students from The Art Institute of Houston, with the assistance of fashion instructors Marina Saba and David Dang, had the opportunity to create garments using African style printed materials. The finished garments were judged and 12 designs were chosen to be presented on the runway during this year’s African Fashion Week in Houston. The fashion week will take place from October 21-23, 2016.
