The Art Institute of California–Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University, partnered with LifeStream to host a blood drive on campus on August 3, 2017.

A blood drive is held once every three months on campus and is a great way to give back to our community. The donated blood is given to area hospitals and patients, providing blood products and services to more than 80 Southern California hospitals in five counties. To fulfill patient need, LifeStream must collect 500 blood donations daily.

At the most recent event, Ai California—Inland Empire, donated 31 pints of blood, enough to supply 3 human bodies. The center is always in need of type “O” blood as well as people with AB negative and AB positive blood types as they are potential universal plasma donors. AB plasma is universal and can be used for all patients regardless of their blood type.

The blood drive was open to all members of Ai California—Inland Empire and our community. To learn more about LifeStream and where you can donate, visit
