The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University, recently sponsored the 10th annual Oak Grove Center’s So-Cal Chef Open in Temecula, California. Over 700 guests attended the event, which was judged by chef instructor William Ramsey. Also judging was chef instructor Mauro Daniel Rossi from The Art Institute of California—Hollywood, a campus of Argosy University and Amanda Martin, who in 2012 earned an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts from The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire.
Assisting in the event for the day were September 2017 graduates Natalia Sanchez, who earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Arturo Hichoshicos, who earned an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts.
Oak Grove, founded in 1989, assists at-risk children and their families through educating, healing, restoring relationships, building character and instilling hope to each individual. The event raises awareness of Oak Grove within the community, helping to make a difference in the lives of the at-risk and specials needs youth Oak Grove Center serves.
