The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire, a campus of Argosy University recently celebrated the Star Wars themed holiday “May the Fourth”. The campus event attracted 150 people who enjoyed a variety of games and contests.

The main attraction was a student artwork contest that had four categories of entry: The Rebellion, The Dark Side, The Force, and The Ride or Die Sidekicks. Student artwork included paintings, crafted objects, and fashion garments. The first-place prize winner earned a Star Wars drone.

Other attractions included a face painting section, a bouncy house for children, and a live screen-printing by Skool Boiz. Purple Easel was also on hand to help participants create a group painting of a Star Wars themed light saber.

The Art Institute of California—Inland Empire hosted a goodie table full of Stars Wars themed snacks from Vader Dogs to Hoth’s Ice Cream and Carbonated Comets—made by the school’s culinary team by mixing Fruity Pebbles with liquid nitrogen.

Darth Vader also made an appearance, interacting with families showcasing his light saber skills.
