During the first weekend in November 2016, students studying media arts at The Art Institute of Tennessee—Nashville, a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta, helped to capture footage of the city’s “Big Band Bash.” The footage will be used for a United Service Organization’s (USO) promotional piece.

The students volunteered to cover the event and to facilitate a final product that will be used as a promotional piece. The USO video is a real-world piece that benefits both the client and the students working on it. These types of projects allow students to experience practical application of their studies, help others, and express themselves in dynamic creative mediums.
